We’ve moved into a new build and the locks on all the doors have been temperamental. Dan recently replaced the gearbox on our back conservatory door as we were unable to use it. Today he replaced the gearbox on our composite door, which turned out to be more complicated than anticipated - Dan was patient, skilled & knowledgeable enough to rectify the problem. Dan is always punctual & professional. I have recommended him to many since he first came out to us. I would 100% recommend his services to anyone.

My experience was excellent from start to finish. I received a call back in 24 hours of making contact and Dan attended 48 hours later to complete the work. He was prompt, friendly, polite and resolved the issue speedily and without the additional expense of a new lock and a second visit. He also looked at an issue I had identified with the front door and he identified the problem and resolved that speedily and without the need for any further work. I had been thinking I may need to replace the entire door but he removed that necessity. Dan is professional, punctual and a great choice.

I can’t recommend Amber Valley Locksmiths highly enough! I urgently needed to upgrade my locks since my two-year-old could easily open our old thumb turn. They were incredibly responsive and understood the importance of getting the job done promptly. They upgraded our locks to high-quality Apex models and even installed new handles, as my old ones weren’t compatible with the new locks—something I thought might be a bit tricky! But this situation was handled. Haha
