Alps Electrical Solar — 10/10. One of the best companies I’ve dealt with. Andy and Bella run a superb family business. Bella, the chief of staff, was always checking in and made the process smooth and personal. I chose Alps over big nationwide firms with inflated prices — going local to Darlington was the right call. Bradley and Leon were top class fitters. Scaffolding was quick, install neat, and the 11 panels look excellent. Great value, no regrets, and highly recommended.

Excellent Solar and Battery installation, the whole team were very knowledgeable from start to finish giving lots of advice. The installation went very smoothly and the work areas were kept tidy at all times. The team were punctual and kept me informed at each stage. I would be happy to use Alps Electrical again in the future.

I chose Alps to fit my new EV charger after reading previous reviews and I was not disappointed in their excellent communication and high professional standards . The install was superb despite the atrocious weather and the installation team even took the time to show me how to operate the new charger and sorted the phone app out for me ! All rubbish and other mess was swept and tidied up.A great job and I would not hesitate to recommend, many thanks Alps team 👍Kyle

A little about the people behind the business!

Andy Pemberton

Andy trained as an electrical apprentice from school age, gaining invaluable experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. Andy manages the installation side of the business, ensuring every job is carried out safely, cleanly, swiftly, and to the highest of standards.

Oh, and you may remember Andy from The X Factor! He came 3rd in 2005 with his brother Carl as the duo Journey South and went on to have a number-one album with Simon Cowell in 2006, selling over 216,000 copies in one week. One of the many highlights for Andy was performing for King Charles on his 60th birthday and being an ambassador for The Princes Trust. Andy's passion outside of work is music, where he still writes, records, and performs.

Isabella Pemberton

Isabella trained and worked as a financial advisor for 15 years before joining Alps. Her customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail ensure that no stone is left unturned in her role at Alps. Isabella ensures that the customer service experience from initial contact through to installation is the best it can be. Many of our customer reviews mention the fantastic communication they have experienced from Isabella.
