We recently contacted Allwood Preservation when we found a few items with woodworm in our garage. Maxwell visited us properly and gave us clear advice on what we should do to ensure it hadn’t spread any further. The work was carried out promptly and with minimum disruption.

Allwood Preservation came round to provide a solution to a rising damp issue by our back door in the kitchen, we also sought two additional quotes too. Maxwell's extensive knowledge and honesty was greatly appreciated, so we accepted his quote. On the day of the works, he arrived on time and worked efficiently, with care and extremely tidily. Great experience and a very honest person. Max came to assess our house for damp. Max looked outside the property, inside and asked what our concerns were. Max was honest and said that the issue was more condensation and gave us some further pointers to reduce it. His honesty was appreciated and meant no unnecessary cost for us.

Max is very knowledgeable and works efficiently. His price is reasonable and he gave me practical advice on dealing with my woodworm, including suggesting bigger ventillation grilles to improve underfloor ventillation.
