We have employed Ian (All Purpose Improvements ) before to do carpentry work and had no hesitation in asking him and his team do demolish an old rotten staircase with a new improved staircase. The new design is safer and better all round. He and Mike also stripped out a kitchen making safe to create a new room. Pipes were cut, holes filled, skirting fitted… all done professionally. Ian and Mike are pleasant, reliable and honest. I will definitely use AllPurpose Improvements again.

We returned to Ian and All Purpose Improvements again after being delighted with previous works. Again he and Mike were reliable, professional and did a great job. The new staircase is safe, attractive and we are very pleased. They have also stripped out an old kitchen, made good piping etc and fitted new skirting to create new usage of the room.

Really excellent job done to repair our roof lantern which was starting to rot. Huge care taken and expertise shown in repairing it. Lovely finishing touches to the carpentry and paint work.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended – Trustworthy, Professional, and Multi-Skilled I cannot recommend Ian highly enough! He has transformed my entire home, handling everything from herringbone wood flooring, skirting, and architrave to a full electrical rewire with spotlights. He also fitted shutters, built an under-stairs cupboard, plastered walls and ceilings, stripped wallpaper, and even installed a new fireplace. Ian is an incredibly skilled tradesman who can handle all aspects of home improvement, including gas work, central heating, hot water systems, electrics, and all types of carpentry.

Needed a stud wall to make a 3rd bedroom. Ian and the boys did amazingly, couldn't be happier. Good price, good timing and would definitely book them again for future work. So happy with my wall, love the space. THANK YOU for all your hard work.

Ian and his team are fantastic. I have asked them to come back several times since the initial works to do more bits as I make my way through a house renovation. They are professional, their work is exceptional and they are tidy and a pleasure to have around. Ian helped me work to my budget and in a way that was most cost efficient.
