    Fantastic service from enquiry to on the move day - highly recommend!

    From enquiring, through to booking in and then on the day, Alexander James Removals were fantastic to deal with. They promptly responded to queries I had before the day, were great value and I particularly liked their "best price first time", unlike other removal companies I looked at who kept offering a "better price". On the day, the team consisting of John, Ben and Brian, were all friendly, respectful of my home and hardworking. They ensured I was happy with where everything had been placed, checked any damage already on items and were a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend using AJR!

    We just moved from Gosport to Haslemere with Alexander James and they were truly exceptional. Phillip and the team were absolutely amazing from start to finish, professional, friendly, took such great care of all our stuff and even went above and beyond when we arrived at the new place helping the other movers at our new property finish what they should have already done. I cannot recommend Alexander James highly enough and will never be going anywhere else again in the future. Thank you so much!

    Outstanding Service

    I was very pleased with the service. It was excellent value for money and the team were extremely professional and friendly. They arrived early and were efficient and also respectful as we moved to a new home so we’re careful with all the new carpets etc. I would definitely recommend them!!

We offer a professional removal service to domestic and commercial customers.


We undertake approximately 30 removals per month throughout the UK & Europe.


We can provide a full packing service and have our own storage facility should your sale and purchase not tie up.


Ahead of the move we always undertake a survey at your convenience to ensure that we get to meet the people that we could be potentially moving.


This gives you a chance to ask any questions or discuss any concerns that you may have.


You also need to make sure that you feel comfortable with the people moving you.


The other reason for undertaking a survey is to ensure we supply the correct vehicle and the correct number of people for your requirement.


All of our staff are employed and are full time removal men, and we have goods in transit insurance as standard


It's our job to make your relocation as simple and straightforward as possible and we take our responsibilities very seriously indeed.
