  AJE did a really good job and his attention to detail was very good. The final job was of a high quality. Only real downside was the constant pushiness for funds both during the job and immediately after despite this not being agreed before the job started.

  We needed more materials due to the issues we discussed. So rather than delay the job and not finish I called you a few times to discuss. I also didn’t charge you for a lot of extras so I’m disappointed by your comment but glad we left a good finish

  Woodwork painting, shrinkage and ceiling repainting

  Ashley repainted the woodwork including skirting, shelves and cupboards in our lounge to a very high standard, fixed shrinkage and repainted a large family room ceiling. All work was done to an excellent standard with care and attention and everything left clean and tidy. Would definitely use Ashley again for other decorating work.

  Previous job was very good, however this job not so good. AJE seemed stressed did not attend to detail. IE. edges of doors not rubbed down or painted so had to do that myself.

  Exc bluntness- 200 word You didn’t tell me you wasn’t happy, I would have returned. Quote reduced to work on areas simultaneously, wasn’t poss but honoured price anyway. Explained about peeling wood/doors and you said do what you can without £ increase.

  I was very pleased with the prompt attention to my initial enquiry and the quote arrived promptly too. Ashley is reliable, courteous, tidy and an excellent workman who really pays attention to detail. The end result was perfect and Ashley had even made a couple of suggestions about the materials which was helpful. I was away for a few days while Ashley worked and he is trustworthy and responsible. He kept in touch with photos and messages while I was away so I could see what he was doing. I would highly recommend Ashley and I will be using him for external painting in the New Year.
