    We have had AJ Cook take care of our whole house over time in Welwyn Garden City and could not be happier with the result. Not only is the work flawless and pricing fair, but we were even given suggestions as to colours etc which improved what we originally had planned! 10/10. Would easily recommend to anyone in the Hertfordshire area looking for someone to carry out work whilst actually genuinely taking pride in what they do!

    10/10 Decorators!

    Couldn't ask for better decorators! A really reasonable quote for full 2 bed flat decorating, and were really accommodating when I had some issues with plaster on the ceiling and had to work around other trades. Aron, Gary and Erin were punctual, kept me updated throughout the job and very tidy. They were very respectful of noise when I worked from home and I am very impressed with the work done and would recommend. 10/10, thank you!

    Aron came to the house to see the job. I immediately felt comfortable with him. He had good ideas and nothing was too much trouble. He and his father worked with care, were very calm, answered all my questions and were methodical in their approach to the project. It had been completed it to a very high standard. I felt comfortable with them in the house and was able to leave them alone to continue working. I love my new room and can't wait to furnish it. Thank you so much, I look forward to doing more work for me in the near future.

    Aron has completed several painting and decorating jobs for me over the past couple of years and I have been delighted with all the work he has done. He is always on time, neat and tidy and understands what the customer wants. I would not go to anyone else for painting and decorating. Have already booked for the summer.

I am a painter and decorator and the majority of my work is domestic. I've been self-employed for around 10 years and have worked for several building and painting firms, large and small. I work along side my dad who is also a painter and decorator and is very competent in other trades. Between the two of us, we have a lot of experience and are willing to undertake most jobs.

I have been experienced in painting and decorating since my dad took me under his wing when I was in my late teens. Over the years, I have honed in my skills and developed a confidence which helps me to become undeterred by any aspect of a job, no matter how daunting it may appear. What I enjoy the most about my line of work is facing the challenge of achieving the best possible results I can, within a specified time frame.

As well as your basic emulsion work and woodwork finishes, we are also willing and able to undertake other services including wallpapering, coving installation, internal wall bonding repairs, architrave fitting/repairs, spindle repairs/replacements, exterior metal painting applications and exterior High Build decorative coatings. I also offer free quotations and prefer to view jobs beforehand so as to give my most accurate price.
