Due to the Ahead Loft Installation installer having unforeseen circumstances the installation started late. However the installation went well although the installer was interrupted by phone calls. I guess as a small company this is unavoidable. The finished product has now been put to use and looks good and functions well.

I wanted my faulty concertina type loft ladder replaced with an identical one that I had already purchased, but didn’t feel confident about changing myself. I put the job on Checkatrade to two companies, only this one replied. I was contacted almost immediately, and the work was completed within 3 days. David (I think his name was) and another removed the existing ladder and fitted the new one in less an hour, cleaned up and took the old one away. Fast and efficient service.

Overall disappointing experience and would not engage Ahead Loft Ladders for any further work in future and would not recommend them. I engaged ALL to fit a loft hatch and board our loft. It started off well with the initial visit for a free quote. David was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the quote seemed reasonable at the time given the high quality of work I was expecting. However on completion, the work was sub standard and lazy, especially for the price. David did revisit to correct most of the issues which was appreciated. Communication was also quite poor as David was hard to reach

Excellent work from start to finish. David installed - guess what - yes a loft ladder. He is kind of brilliant at it. Also very good at communication, and checking with us as he was doing the installation. Also I found his invoicing and payment methods really efficient. I would highly recommend David.

The fitter was a very busy man, so much so that he arrived at house at about 8pm to examine situation and provide a quote. Job was done aa week or so later and took about 2 hours. Cleaned up mess after job and clearly explained working of new ladder.
