  Fixing broken doors and advice on appliances.

  Alex is clearly hugely knowledgeable. He showed me what the issue was and what was needed. He recommended two options, explaining the benefits and challenges of both so I could decide based on urgency and price without feeling pressured into spending or committing to anything I didn't understand or require. Alex noticed a funny smell in the kitchen as he was leaving and after looking at my plumbing sent suggestions on parts and appliances. He went above any beyond in every aspect, I would wholeheartedly recommend his services if you are looking for anyone you need to trust to do a great job!

  Alex arrived exactly on time. He made no fuss on what was required of him. He had all the necessary tools. Was quick but efficient. Polite but not too chatty. Got on with the work promptly. Tidy and reasonably priced for the work required.

  Dismantle old shed, build a shed and remove the rubbish

  Alex from AGN did a fantastic job single-handedly. He was punctual, great communication and adapted the build to my needs. He was great at problem solving and I was amazed at how good the new shed looks! Highly recommend him - general handyman and carpenter, I’ll be booking him for future jobs

  Severe damp damage rectified through decorating

  Fencing repairs

  We needed fencing in front of our house repaired - not the whole fencing replaced. Removing rotten boards, extra strengthening, new gate, replace boards, filling and repainting. Done on schedule working on dry days around the rain. Did exactly what was required efficiently and on schedule.

  Repairing aging decking

  Alex spent a couple of days repairing our aging decking without doing a complete new job. The top deck was basically fine but the supports had rotted away in places. So we didn’t want a massive job we wanted a repair job. It’s been fixed really well. It’s such a relief it didn’t incur massive expenses and Alex was so helpful and reliable.
