The technician arrived on time, reset the door's service alarm and serviced the door, which involved some realignment of the track, lubricating various moving parts and testing the door to ensure it was working smoothly and quietly. The person involved explained what work was necessary and what he had done. He also sorted out a defect in an electrically operated awning at the rear of the house. His conduct was polite and professional throughout. We would highly recommend Advance Shutters for any work involving garage doors or awnings.

I visited the advance shutter business and was welcomed by the staff,after a chat about my broken door spring I returned home and sent them a picture and make of my door,within two days my door was repaired by 2 young lads who were very polite and friendly also they new what they were doing. We’ll done 👍

On the plus side the company was quick to respond to my request for someone to come and determine the problem with my roller shutter garage door. The engineer visited that day and returned the next day to effect the repair and the repair was done satisfactorily. However, on the minus side this came at a price, £1060 + VAT to fit a new Eurodrive 80nm motor and a safety brake assembly. The work including the initial inspection took 2-1/2 hours. Knowing what I could buy the new parts for on line, I would say that the labour costs were very high.
