As part of the full renovation of my property, Adam and his team have done a great job installing new UPVC windows throughout, a beautiful composite front door and aluminium bifolds to the rear. This was the second job Adam has done for us. Both done to a high standard. Adam and his team are friendly, reliable, punctual, and very tidy. Adam was regularly on site and there was frequent communication between us. He is very responsive to phone calls/messaging. Adam and his team took out our old bathroom suite in readiness for a slightly new layout. They moved a wall to create space for a new airing cupboard, suggesting ideas for the interior lighting and shelving. After each day the team tidy up and leave the area as clean and tidy as they can. They are polite, trustworthy and we are more than comfortable with them being in the house. We felt able to ask questions as the work progressed. As always, we have used this company previously, the workmanship and finish is top quality. My name is Adam Steele and I come from a long line of builders.
My grandfather started the company Steele and Wakefield and was instrumental in building many hundreds of properties along the whole of the south coast but notably in Lancing, his home village.
My father, along with his siblings, took over the business and expanded it through the latter half of the 20th Century.
I am one of 4 brothers who all have building in their blood and who all trade in the local area today.
My company is made up of family members and long term associates who all trust and work together in a comfortable and professional way.
My team has over 100 years of experience in various skills within the construction industry.
My turn over of staff is very low and this makes for the sort of solid relationship that can only flourish when people who have worked together for so many years trust each other implicitly.
I believe this is important for my team working on a site and it is important for my customer who knows they have honest, reliable and trustworthy professionals in or around their home.
We have work featured in 'Real Homes' and 'Beautiful Kitchens' magazines.
I use the same contractors for electrical and plumbing work and they also feel very much part of the Adam Steele 'family' and who are also fully insured and qualified.
I offer free estimates and advice and work closely with Local Authority in respect of planning and completion issues.
Our company aim is 'To provide high quality construction and finish'. We have a flexible approach to changing requirements and aim to achieve all work undertaken on time.
All our tradesmen are qualified, and are very friendly. We supervise each project in a hands on way, and are in daily contact.
We work with closely with building control, are members of the Federation of Master Builders, Checka Trade and Trust Mark - Government endorsed standards.
We are fully insured.
We are based in Ferring, West Sussex but work all across West Sussex.
