10 Lounge refurb

Adam and his team renovated our lounge, replacing - ceiling, coving, skirting boards, radiator and plastering and painting walls and filling in an old wall hatch to the kitchen. All the work was completed with great care and to a high standard. His team arrive promptly, are friendly and professional and ensure everywhere is left clean and tidy after each day. Having seen Adam's excellent reviews on checkatrade, I contacted him for a quote on some general building & decoration work. I'm so glad I did, as he completely lived up to my expectations. He was punctual, friendly and understood exactly what I wanted done. The work carried out by Adam and his team was first class and done to a high standard. My name is Adam Steele and I come from a long line of builders.
My grandfather started the company Steele and Wakefield and was instrumental in building many hundreds of properties along the whole of the south coast but notably in Lancing, his home village.
My father, along with his siblings, took over the business and expanded it through the latter half of the 20th Century.
I am one of 4 brothers who all have building in their blood and who all trade in the local area today.
My company is made up of family members and long term associates who all trust and work together in a comfortable and professional way.
My team has over 100 years of experience in various skills within the construction industry.
My turn over of staff is very low and this makes for the sort of solid relationship that can only flourish when people who have worked together for so many years trust each other implicitly.
I believe this is important for my team working on a site and it is important for my customer who knows they have honest, reliable and trustworthy professionals in or around their home.
We have work featured in 'Real Homes' and 'Beautiful Kitchens' magazines.
I use the same contractors for electrical and plumbing work and they also feel very much part of the Adam Steele 'family' and who are also fully insured and qualified.
I offer free estimates and advice and work closely with Local Authority in respect of planning and completion issues.
Our company aim is 'To provide high quality construction and finish'. We have a flexible approach to changing requirements and aim to achieve all work undertaken on time.
All our tradesmen are qualified, and are very friendly. We supervise each project in a hands on way, and are in daily contact.
We work with closely with building control, are members of the Federation of Master Builders, Checka Trade and Trust Mark - Government endorsed standards.
We are fully insured.
We are based in Ferring, West Sussex but work all across West Sussex.
