We used Acorn for a house extension in 2019, and have used them on 5 other occasions since due to the quality of work and competitive pricing. In 2021 we had soakaway drainage installed and a roof replaced on a shed. In 2023 we had all windows and french doors replaced and in 2024 a full new roof replacement and a front composite door fitted. On all occasions the price quoted was what we paid, and the work is finished to an excellent standard. The 2 Jon's were a pleasure to have in our home and would always leave it clean and tidy each day. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

Jon and Jon built an extension for us, comprising of a porch and WC. From start to finish, they conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. Every day they'd arrive on time and wouldn't waste a moment before beginning work. Noise levels were always kept to a minimum and the site left spotless each day, such was their care not to be disruptive to us or to our neighbours. No additional request was too much, and at the end we've been left with a space that has completely transformed our home and our lives. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any job or to recommend them to anyone.

We removed the old down stares bathroom to make a utility room.Jon was asked to put a doorway from the old bathroom into the outside brick shed.They bricked the old doorway up to the outside shed using the bricks from the inside new doorway and they matched the outside wall perfectly.Jon and his mate lined and plastered the walls hiding the water pipes etc. They fitted new toilet and sink doing a brilliant and very neat job. They were very tidy and professional . I would recommend them to anybody and I will use them again.

I recently had Acorn Building & Roofing Ltd renovate my entire house, and the results are outstanding. John and John managed the extensive project, including a reroof, underfloor heating, air source heat pump, four new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and thermal rendering. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were impeccable, resulting in an EPC rating of A. They were communicative and professional throughout. This is the third time I have used this company, and that is because of their attention to detail and the excellent standard of work. I find them both courteous and diligent. They arrive on time and work quietly,they are clean and tidy while they work and very considerate of the household. All out they are very nice people to work with in the home. They want to help, and that is obvious by their ethics. I can say I'd have no hesitation in using them again.

We had a new roof complete with soffit fascia and guttering, the old roof was removed the wooden lats and waterproof sheets fitted and new tiles. The job was done so very cleanly and tidy. Both Jon’s were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Overall a fantastic job very happy. We would definitely recommend anyone using these guys for all jobs. Whilst the roof was off we asked that the loft was re insulated and completely boarded out with a bigger loft hatch and ladder, all work complete in good time.
