Ackroyd attended my property to replace a faulty valve on my boiler. Unfortunately, they replaced the wrong valve entirely, leaving the original faulty valve leaking. Despite multiple phone calls and emails demonstrating their error (with photographic evidence), They have repeatedly failed to respond or provide any reasonable solution. Their communication has been disorganised and inadequate, with the company admitting they had no record of the part number or details of the valve they claimed to have replaced. Due to their poor service and lack of accountability, I cannot recommend Ackroyd.

The engineer turned up as expected. Though he did not do the work, he didn't know how to remove the oven underneath the hob. He didn't investigate under the existing hob. He measured the top of the hob at 75cm and then measured the new hob at 73cm and said the new one was too small, how he could say that with out measuring the cavity underneath beggars belief. I asked him over the phone, to try and fix the existing hob to save a wasted booking. He turned a few knows and tried to light it and gave up. Caught on CCTV. I am now plagued by demands for a call out fee for a job he abandoned. Avoid!

Good communication and the job was done in a timely manner. Potentially not the cheapest on the market but reliable and a sensible price so I will continue to use them

The whole experience was very good from the initial contact, subsequent survey for the quote, polite staff, timely business and professional trades person who completed the task in a clean and efficient manner. My wife said what a nice young man he was. We found that the work was very good value for money.

Very quick to respond to job posted on check a trade I posted for my mum.Kept contact and appointment to view job then kept us up to date and stuck to quote. Very reliable and trustworthy
