We used CheckaTrade to find a local tradesperson for fitting carpets in 3 areas/rooms in our house, having had an average experience with one of the chain carpet suppliers. This time, AC Flooring did a fantastic job, from when he visited us to advise, provide samples and take copious measurements. The work was carried out with efficiency and tidiness and we would have no hesitation in recommending Andy. A great job.

Andy was very straight forward and professional. He clarified the job and price estimate via the messaging service. He was willing to do the work on a Friday evening after his normal day, as the job was relatively small (30 minutes work). In the end he was able to refit the small area of carpet around 5pm and we are very pleased with the result. No nonsense, no fuss, friendly guy.

One of the best carpet fitters I have ever found over more than 50 years. Meticulous, nice guy, very efficient and professional, and reasonable charges. He fitted hall and stair carpets, and two other rooms. He is also skilled in heat seaming where necessary.

Dog chewed up and scratched carpet. Replaced with coconut matting. Very happy with job carried out at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
