    This is the second time i have used Acacia landscapes. They do excellent work at a reasonable price. this time they landscaped the front garden and it is stunning. all work was discussed at every stage and nothing was to much trouble. Alan gave good advice on planting and the area was left clean and tidy. I highly recommend Acacia landscapes.

    Garden overhaul

    Alan was great at understanding our idea and translating that into reality. Great communication and quality of work. Alan overhauled our garden and laid a new lawn, created pebbled areas and planted a variety of plants.

    Beach garden redesign

    We can highly recommend Acacia Landscapes for your garden work. We had a full garden redesign with sunken lower patio, upper tiled patio, gravel garden, new paths, sleeper beds and sleeper walls. Alan and the team worked hard in terrible weather and we are thrilled with the results. Alan helped us develop the plan and was very helpful with suggestions for materials and a planting scheme. He was also very adaptable when we changed our minds! Great work from the initial chats at the start to the high quality finish.

    New tiles to protect my crumbling wall

    Alan and Tom sorted out my crumpling patio wall. They removed the top row of bricks and put tiles on top of the wall. Tom worked with great car and attention to detail. Alan explained how the tiles would look and we discussed ideas until the final design was agreed. Alan and Tom are both very tidy workers and worked tirelessly until the job was finished, despite the weather. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

    Front garden redesign for car parking

    Redesign front garden to park a small car. The result was beyond expectations. No conventional block paving with straight lines but sweeping curves, elegant steps and attractive gravel hard standing, finished off with planting to attract wildlife. The transformation has generated much positive comment from neighbours and passersby. Alan has an eye for hard and soft landscaping, seeing options I hadn’t thought of or possible with my budget. His team was always punctual, polite, and kept the work area tidy to keep disruption to a minimum. I have no hesitation in recommending Acacia Landscape

    Garden terracing

    Alan has done several landscaping jobs for us. His work is always of the highest quality. He has recently terraced part of our front garden and replaced a small steep lawn with shingle.

I have been working in the horticultural and landscaping industry for over 35 years now. For most of this time I have worked for myself or ran my own company. During these years I have been contracted by wildlife conservation groups, private home owners, local councils and commercial developers. I have installed wildlife ponds and gardens, boardwalks and deckings, patios, paths and drives. If you would like a new lawn then I can give you a fine turf lawn, a wild flower , a clover or even an artificial lawn. I pride myself on listening to my clients requirements and delivering the best I can for their budget.

I am a firm believer in encouraging our children away from their devices and playing outside, whether that be climbing a tree, kicking a ball, bouncing on the trampoline or just siting reading a book and listening to the sounds of nature. And for those early years there's nothing better than encouraging them to get their hands dirty and being creative in a garden mud kitchen.
