Turned up on time and worked until lunchtime. Did a great job. I have used About Trees several times in the past 10-15 years and they have always been reliable and done what was required. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

I had 3 trees needing attention - a large laurel, an overgrown holly and an overgrown rowan. About trees had a hood look at the problem and provided a detailed quite for the work. On the day, the guys checked in with me regarding the planned work and have done a great job. The laurel and holly have been sympathetically reduced and the rowan cut down and treated as requested. Wayne’s team David and Liam did a terrific job on pruning my very large maple in my small garden. I was a nervous customer as I had had a bad experience with a different company a couple years previously. This year I got 3 quotes. Wayne was the only company, gave me a clear written quote (without asking) detailing all the work to be carried out. The quotes were all around the £110 mark and were within £10 of one another. Liam and David took great care to get the best possible shape for the tree whilst ensuring its future growth and health. I’m booking them for next year.

Silver birch reduction and removal of a cherry tree. Wayne came out promptly, understood what tree work I required, and as I am in a conservation area, Wayne dealt with all the necessary paperwork in order to get council approval, keeping me updated throughout the whole process. The work was carried out efficiently and professionally. The team were polite and friendly, and all rubbish was cleared away and the site was left clean and tidy. My silver birch now looks lovely and well cared for. I would highly recommend Wayne and his team for any of your tree works.
