We feel very lucky to have found Jamie when we did as we had been let down by two builders prior to meeting him. It just so happened he had availability and we have not looked back since. We were knocking through to make open plan kitchen diner with bifold doors and bifold windows at the back. Jamie brings the perfect mindset and demeanour to these types of jobs, he doesn’t get stressed or flustered and is able to think creatively and proactively to make your ideas a reality. He is a real pro and you won’t go wrong hiring him.

This is our second major construction project with Abode. Their works is high quality and extremely professional. Always honest, utterly trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. The end product exceeds our expectations.

loft renovation/extension which was expertly and skillfully undertaken. Victorian house with many quirks so we valued liaison with structural engineer and ourselves in order to find successful solutions. The area was kept exceptionally tidy and Jamie was courteous and friendly throughout. He introduced himself to the neighbours and was willingly to explain how long scaffolding etc was to be around if they had queries. Worked quietly and well with other tradespeople. He has both experience and expertise. We would willingly use his services again and recommend to others.

Excellent workmanship. Very good communication, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. Worked in all weathers, efficiently and without fuss. Restored our faith in the building trade! We are delighted with the result, and they were a pleasure to have on site.

Abode created new patios and excellent curved brick walling to retain the different levels of our garden. The care taken to create perfect curves, incorporating 3 sets of steps was second to none. The finished work could not have been bettered in any way. The area looks stunning. An extremely professional team creating an extremely professional look. I can not recommend them highly enough.

I can not recommend 'Abode' highly enough. They had a mammoth job to do, made especially difficult as it was during COVID and over the winter. The team were totally professional during the 8 months of the build with very high quality work carried out with good humour and a smile. We had to live in the property for part of the build which made their job much harder. They were consistently considerate. They did not let us down once, on any aspect of the work, and went out of their way to be helpful. If we were ever to do another project I would be delighted to work with them again.
