  Our kitchen extension wall had damp due to a leak in the roof. Alan helped us to identify the problem and then recommended us roofers to fix the initial problem. He was extremely patient with us whilst we dealt with the initial leak and worked with us to find best dates etc. When undertaking the work Allan was timely, courteous, tidy and kept us well informed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

  Rising damp in living room - external walls and party wall treated.

  Alan made a thorough assessment and explained everything in detail before giving me a quote. He came when he said he would, kept to his word and processed requests promptly. He was a good worker, respecting and protecting my furniture and carpets. He kept me informed each step of the way. I have not decorated yet, but the plastering looks well done. He clearly has a lot of experience in the field. Alan cleared up well after the work, leaving the place in good condition. I would use his services again, should the need arise.

  Rectifying rising damp

  I was slightly hesitant on Able damp specialist’s as I hadn’t sourced out any other traders but glad I didn’t. From the initial quote to completing the works he ( Alan) didn’t disappoint. He’s knowledge/communication and attention to detail was spot on and made u feel at ease. He knew exactly what he was doing, and got on with the job with rectifying the rising damp in the hallway. He ran through everything clearly he had done after the job was completed. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and very pleased with the work carried out.

  Damp in the kitchen

  We had rising damp in the kitchen which had spread across the wall. Able Damp specialists had a look and explained all along the way what they were going to do and how long each stage was going to take. The job was done very well and were still available to answer questions some day after the job as well. Great service!

  There aren't enough superlatives to describe Alan's approach and workmanship. He has been quite simply fantastic from start to finish. He is an exceptional communicator - assertive (so you know exactly what he means and what he is planning to do and when) , he is highly organised (do you have no doubts about the timeline), he is very courteous (so again no doubts about his overall approach) and most importantly, he is very tidy.Yes, there is dust and dirt, but he kept everything contained in the one area and hoovered every afternoon before he left for the day. I would 100% recommend Alan.
