We were very pleased with the choice of doors offered by Abbey Windows and the fitting of the new one.

Our old house did not make this installation easy but the fitter worked and worked to ensure everything was perfect and would not leave until it was so. We genuinely recommend Abbey Windows and are very pleased we chose them.

I ordered windows and doors from Abbey Windows in September 2024. The installation was delayed and finally completed in mid-January 2025. Within a week, I reported serious issues: a window that wouldn’t close, unsealed frames letting in cold air, and incomplete work. Over the past 5 months, Abbey Windows has sent multiple technicians, over 3 technicians, none of whom resolved the problems. Despite repeated calls and emails, the work remains unfinished. Their response that I have a 10-year guarantee, is unacceptable when the issues were reported immediately and still haven’t been fixed.

The level of service has been disappointing and it’s been a frustrating experience dealing with Abbey Windows through their complaint procedure. The windows have been installed with uneven/large gaps between the window and frame, to a point where the weather-pile does not touch the frame and a draught can be felt. The second issue is the colour, which is clearly not white as requested, but rather a cream/yellow colour. Their handling of the issues has been inadequate throughout. It’s such a shame Abbey Windows believe this standard of workmanship is normal for them.
