    Les did a brilliant job fixing my broken window lock and door lock fitting. He did a brilliant bit of work tidy, fast, and clearly knows what he’s doing. I appreciated how quickly he got everything sorted and how he made sure everything was working perfectly before he left.I’ll definitely be calling Les again if I need anything in the future. Thank you!

    Replaced broken front door lock

    Les did a fantastic job when my front door lock failed and locked me in my house! He was really responsive and was able to diagnose the problem and fit a replacement quickly. He was very friendly and the cost for the work was really reasonable. I would definitely recommend him and go to him again if I ever need a locksmith in future.

    Supply and fit a new locking mechanism

    I posted my job on Checkatrade and received a telephone call within 20 minutes of posting. After sending some photos and videos over of my current lock, we had arranged a visit for shortly after, bearing in mind this was a Saturday afternoon and non urgent, I was very surprised at the service received at this point. The appointment went ahead and I decided I would like to change my locks whilst having the mechanism changed, after discussing the recommended locks, the job was then complete. I was very happy, received exactly what I wanted with outstanding customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My name is Leslie May, I am the director of A & E Locksmiths. I work in partnership with my daughter Alex May who is a lady locksmith.
We are a truly family run business trading for 20 years who live locally and serve all BR SE DA postcodes.

We base most of our work around Bromley and the surrounding areas.

We specialise in all UPVC door problems.

We aim to gain entry with no damage where possible.

We can upgrade all locks on all doors.

We are passionate about making you feel safe.

Our main aim is to provide a Good service to all our customers. When you call either myself or Alex will answer your call we will give an honest quote estimated with the information you provide. Bear in mind that this may not be the cheapest quote you will get, we are not sales people and we would rather make you aware of the costing prior to the appointment rather than quote cheaply and then shock you later with tales of why it has cost more.

We will always advise to the best of our ability about the best way forward whether this be gaining entry to your property or upgrading you security.

Our services include Lock fitting, Doors opened/ unlocked, Security Door locks, Lock repairs, Window locks, Window repairs, Digital door locks, Auto locksmith, Car key replacement, Alarms and general advice on increasing your security.

Alex, is 31 years old she is a lady locksmith, this is great if a customer is a little worried or feels vulnerable about allowing a man into their house. You can request Alex to visit for an appointment when you ring.

We give discount to OAP's and students, just inform us when you ring.

We do NOT charge a CALL OUT FEE.
We aim to reach customers within 30 minutes.
