  After being let down by another painting and decorating firm I came on Checkatrade and found A2 because they have several good reviews. They answered the phone when I rang, they turned up quickly to view the job when they said, they priced it quickly, they fit us in quickly (before Christmas), worked their socks off on a challenging job and got it done to an excellent standard, cleaned up after themselves and took the waste, and they have followed up a couple of days later to ensure we were happy. If you have a painting and decorating job that needs doing then get A2 in to deliver for you.

  Professional, Reliable and Excellent Quality Work

  A2 Plasters & Decorating came out quickly to provide us with a quote and were brilliant from start to finish. They did a fantastic job on our shop, completing all the plastering and decorating to a very high standard. They also identified and resolved our damp issues, which has made a huge difference. Reliable, tidy, and extremely professional, we’re really pleased with the results and would highly recommend them.

  Hallway and Staircase Painting

  A2 quoted £850 to paint my ground and first floor hallway white from grey plus my loft staircase, various door frames and skirting in gloss white. I then asked to doing some more door frames and skirting in gloss white taking it up to £950 (but then later suggested that the extra work was never discussed). During the job they asked for another £150 as it was more work than they had anticipated (albeit they quoted in person) taking it up to £1100. A2 did a sloppy job, used stain wood (when I asked them to use gloss) and never came back to sort it out. The review only allows five pictures!

  Hi Peter we both know this is not true , we discussed a price, And when we started the project you added on loads of extras , also when we white washed your walls it took 5 coats, we arranged to come back and finish but you never let us do so.
