    New Porch Double Glazing frames and Glass and new Front Door

    Thank you so much for the excellent work carried out last week by the two lads who fitted the new windows and double glazing and new front door in my porch. I am so very please with all of their hard work They cleaned up all of the mess both inside the house and outside and were so professional . I am so very with all of their work. I have used this company many times and would recommend A1 Double Glazing to anyone who wants a good job done

    Would really recommend this company. They are doing 3 jobs 1) Changed half windows in the house. Very competitively priced, reliable, trustworthy, clean and it’s refreshing to find workmen who do what it says on the tin . 2) repair/ fit new handles on some existing double glazed windows. Guy who did this job was professional, on time, did a great job and left the job very tidy. 3) supply and fit new front door which is the next thing on the list.

    I got my back door replaced because the lock mechanism in my old door was knackered. whilst I didn't get a heads up when they were otw (which is an oversight on their part), the team did an excellent job installing the new door. The new door frame looks seamless and I love the overall look. In addition to this, I appreciate that the guys cleaned up - the space was pretty much spotless.

Based Dunston, Gateshead we are a family run business with over 30 years experience in the double glazing industry. We pride ourselves on quality and going the extra mile for customers.

We specialise in the repair and replacement of All PVCu & aluminium windows, doors and conservatories. Whether it be one small window handle or a full house of windows & doors.

REPAIRS

Broken locks handles and hinges, windows or doors difficult to open/close. Our experienced engineers and stocked vehicles means we can diagnose and repair most problems with your windows & doors first visit, however we have great relationships with manufacturers allowing us to source and order any obscure or special order parts.

MISTED GLASS

Have any of your double glazed windows started to mist up, have fog or water marks internally?

This usually means the seal around the double glazed unit has failed. We can replace all types of double(and triple) glazing without the need to replace the frames, our experienced surveyors can also discuss upgrading your double glazed units to modern energy standards, saving the costly expense of changing frames.

Our experienced installers carry out detailed surveys & specifications ensuring the customer gets exactly the right product. We supply & install high quality windows, doors, sliding patios, French doors & conservatories in PVCu & aluminium, We also install the ever popular aluminium bi folding doors in a range of colours to suit any project.

ROOFLINE & CLADDING

We also install PVCu Fascias, Soffits, Gutters, Downpipes, Dry Verge, PVCu & Composite cladding in a vast range of colours & styles to suit your needs. We have a range of in house access equipment to keep the costly scaffolding expenses down.
