Helpful, quick and clean

I contacted 5 Star Appliance repair as our dishwasher was not working. Shane was detailed on the phone explaining costs so that I knew where I stood. It was easy to book an appointment with him and he arrived early. He was unable to fix the dishwasher but this was because it was cheaper to get a replacement than to get the parts and he made this clear. He is very good value for money and I would happily use him again should anything else stop working

Shane was very knowledgeable regarding the replacement part. There are potentially 5 different types but only 1 for my machine. It was a jigsaw to take apart and put back together correctly. It's working as new. I would recommend him. In a fit of DIY you can so easily damage your appliance by not fitting parts CORRECTLY. Don't risk it call the 'A team'.

He couldn’t help as he doesn’t cover the area even though it shows on Checkatrade and he has tried to change this. However he gave some very useful advice and is prepared to do so again.

After a Checkatrade search, I gave them a call to get advice if it’s worth repairing my microwave as it stopped heating despite everything else working. I must apologise for not getting the chap’s name who answered the phone but he was very honest, knowledgable and experienced. He explained what he believes the problem might be and gave me quotes of how much it’ll cost to repair then gave me the choice whether I wish for the repair to be carried out. What I liked most is that he wasn’t forceful in saying he’ll come and repair and take my money but gave me the advice and options. Recommended.
