Alan Porter is very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. We had bad smell in one bathroom. He identified a drainage blockage outside the house coming from other toilets. He unblocked & cleaned the drains and gave some advice before leaving.

Straight forward no nonsense professional approach saw problem solved in double quick time.

Ala came promptly to unblock our sewer. He immediately diagnosed that the blockage was caused by tree roots and quickly extracted a large quantity of roots. With his camera he confirmed that there was a further partial blockage some 13 metres further up the pipe on our neighbour’s property, and he arranged with Southern Water to come and clear that obstruction which they did the following day free of charge. I cannot more highly praise Alan for his professionalism, knowledge and pleasant personality. Highly recommended.

We had a blocked sewerage drain, and Mr Porter was called to unblock it. He had to access the drain from outside our neighbour's property because we couldn't find a drain cover in our garden. He had excellent equipment and accessed the drain with a camera. He found the blockage and unblocked the drain swiftly. He then scanned our garden with a ground penetrating scanner to reveal a drain cover that had been covered up by a previous owner. The job was successfully completed and we are happy to recommend 1st Porter Call Plumbing & Drains highly.

We called Alan out again to help with our blocked sink, having had “Drain Doctors” company come out (due to Alan being on holiday) and after doing some exploration them saying they couldn’t resolve it unless we ripped up our kitchen flooring to gain access. Alan expertly helped solve the issue with his experience and attention to detail - without any floor being ripped up. Can’t recommend 1st Porter Call enough.
