  To design and develop a new garden across a wilderness plot that had not been touched for 3 decades

  We are ecstatic about the transformative work on our overgrown garden undertaken by Richard Mellor and his team at 1st Advanced Landscapes. Richard and his team cleared the whole site, removing 150 tons of spoil before building beautifully curved architectural walls, tiered flower beds, a sun-bleached patio, lush lawn and contrasting dark cobblestone driveway. What we liked was the team's attention to detail, No short cuts or compromises. Best of all, we enjoyed the open discussions with the team, their hard-working nature an and friendliness. They have performed a miracle on our garden

  1st Advanced are first rate. From dealing with Richard initially to then having Mike and Andy actually onsite. They work damn hard are punctual, polite and do what they say they are going to do and then some more. First class!

  Patio, pond and pergola

  We were hugely impressed with the team. They always went out of their way and their work was of the highest standard. Nothing was too much trouble and we are absolutely delighted with end result. This was a big project and we were almost sorry to see them go after nearly eight weeks on the job.

  Returning customer - New composite decking with wire balustrade

  This is the second major project that Richard and his team have done for us. They replaced an old and rotten decking with composite decking underpinned by concrete foundations along with a new balustrade, trellis, steps, garden bed and improved the access to our back garden. Mike and Andy who did the work grafted in all weathers including snow and were absolute stars. The results are superb and reflect their professionalism, attention to detail, outstanding skills and expertise. We continue to be super impressed by the high standard of workmanship this firm delivers-they are second to none.

  Driveway, block paving

  Excellent communication from start to finish. Jake and George the two workers on our job were skilled, hard working and always considerate. The whole experience was a pleasure. There were extras to pay over and above the quoted price but we knew beforehand that that was likely. We would recommend this company if you want quality workmanship.
