  No accountability for a failed ceiling crack repair

  Richard quoted to repair a ceiling crack. In messages he agreed to re board the damaged section if it looked loose. I said it was bowed and uneven which to me suggests movement. Photos were provided. Richard arranged Lee to do the job. After, it was clear the crack had been taped as you could see the tape through the plaster. I was advised it had been screwed and taped and would be fine. I trusted this and it looked ok (initially). 5 months later I happen to look up and notice the crack again. Richard is not willing rectify this. I now have to pay to someone else to have it repaired properly.
