  Check potential washing machine leak

  I booked this plumber to check a suspected leak, which I thought I’d already fixed but wanted a professional to confirm. Illyos arrived, looked underneath the washing machine, switched it on briefly, said nothing was wrong, took payment and left within about five minutes. He didn’t wait long enough to properly test water flow and seemed to be in too much of a rush to leave to answer questions, so I wasn’t reassured. Didn’t clean up after himself, leaving tissues on the floor. I understand call‑out charges, but the visit felt rushed and unprofessional. Not the best and would not hire again.

  LVT Herringbone Flooring

  Jonathan did a fantastic job for us after two other flooring fitters messed up our herringbone floor, part of which had to be completely re-done. From the start, Jonathan was punctual, hardworking and efficient, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. He kept us informed throughout and delivered a high-quality finish. On top of that, he’s a genuinely friendly, easy-going guy and even helped me with an unrelated panelling project. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jonathan if you want a stress free job done well!!

  Painting 2-bed house

  The work was reasonably priced and the decorating itself was done to a decent standard. However, I later discovered that some of the agreed work hadn’t been completed — something I hadn’t checked at the time, and neither did he. When I contacted him, he said he would return to finish it (no refund offered), but despite following up several times over the past three weeks, he had failed to return. Very disappointed as they seemed like nice guys. Overall, I’d say the service is fine if you monitor the work closely, and check fully on completion and don’t expect them to return.
