  Tree deadwooding

  Completed agreed work then informed me that there were more problems with the tree and quoted an additional £1900 to cut it down. When I said I’d like time to think, get other quotes for this unexpected cost he became agitated and put pressure on me to decide on the spot. It was very uncomfortable so in the end I agreed to rebook simply to take the heat out of the situation and get him to leave. Other contractors have now been who see no urgency, and either quote half the amount or say work is not needed at all. Cancelled him - 5 days notice and no contract but he wants a ‘cancellation fee’!
