  Loosened the stopcock, added valves under sinks, and fixed the connections to my washing machine.

  It took a while to get organised (just different communication styles, I think), but on the day Brian was easy to talk to about what needed done, he gave me some good advice and insight into how my flat's plumbing is set up, and I'm really happy with the work he did. Such a relief to have the valves and stopcock working, so I can do small work myself and turn off the water in an emergency.

  Boiler service on an ancient boiler

  Ryan was communicative, and it was easy to organize with him. On the day he was respectful of my home and his work was methodical and thorough. I'm a new homeowner and wanted to know what I could, and he was very patient with my questions. I felt that the price was good, and I've put him at the top of my list to contact for next year's service.

  Boiler repair and radiator fix

  My boiler stopped working while I was moving home, just as the Met announced 3 days of yellow warnings for snow and ice. Fraser came out the next day and got it working again within about an hour. He also sorted an ongoing problem with my radiators that others had estimated to be a much bigger job, so my whole central heating system is now up and running again. He was sincere, efficient, and communication was easy - even when Checkatrade itself stopped working and I had to use his website's contact form to continue the conversation.
