  Front door was found to be non compliant fore Fire Risk Assessment and also needed a new lock fitted

  Alik and Ian did a brilliant job for my husband Rob at his flat. They rehanged the front door, fitted a new lock and did some plumbing work. We are asking them back to do some more work in his bathroom in the New Year. They are punctual, friendly, very professional and helpful. great company 👌

  To repair shelves with necessarily fixings to stop them sloping down.

  Kyle did a brilliant job of re-fixing a very heavy oak shelf which was too heavy for its original fixings. He also re fixed a glass bathroom shelf that was sloping down. Both now perfect. Job done very efficiently and skillfully with no problem. Bathroom and kitchen left clean and tidy. Very happy. These guys are my go to people for jobs big and small.

  Emergency lighting testing and alarm checks

  Nige was very friendly, helpful and professional. He arrived at the time booked and explained clearly what he was going to do. He thoroughly tested the Emergency Lighting and identified a fault which will be rectified the following week. I learnt alot about many aspects of fire safety from asking him questions which is so useful going forward. I was very pleased to get a Fire Safety Log book for our flats. I thought I would have to produce my own so that was fantastic. Very pleased with all aspects of the visit. Thank you Nige. I can thoroughly recommend Holt Alarms!

  Installed fire boarding and foam to walls/ ceiling of service room & reflective tape to fire escape.

  Michael and Kyle were great. They were on time, very helpful and friendly. Their standard of work is excellent. They did work to make our flats compliant with Fire Regulations. They were both very tidy and cleaned up after their work. I have asked them to come back and do some work in my flat as I'm very confident about their skills, workmanship and the quality of their finished work. I can highly recommend them and will be telling friends and family about them.

  we had a very poor tv signal since moving in.

  Myself and my neighbour both had problems with our TV reception and thought there was an arial problem. We didn't have to wait long before Alex could come over and take a look. He kept me informed of his ETA and kindly puts shoe covers on his boots before entering. Alex found the problem after testing the sockets really quickly. He sorted a replacement cable too , retuned the TV and put it back in place. He explained what the issue was and answered all my questions about tv tuning and any queries I had. We are delighted with the service and the price was very reasonable. Great Company!

  Fire door compliance work. Door latch. 2 x bathroom sink plug units. Kitchen tap fix/tighten

  Alik and Ian were very friendly,helpful and skilled in fixing my front door for Fire safety and changing the latch for added security. They were very punctual, tidy and committed to doing a professional job on all jobs they came to undertake. This included replacing 2 bathroom sink plug housings and tightening and straightening a loose kitchen mixer tap. As well as fixing things they also explain issues that lead to the faults where appropriate which is so useful. Stellar work from these guys. Any issues are dealt with immediately and professionally.   Water had been filling drum of washing machine.

  Graham explained what was happening and why. He identified the problem and adjusted the waste pipe and joints to prevent water escaping back towards the washing machine. He tested the machine and advised us to call back in the event of any further issues. Graham came out to us very soon after contacting them through checkatrade which was great. We will be using Home Appliance Repairs in future in both our homes and will be recommending them to friends and neighbours.

  Rob was brilliant. He thoroughly inspected all doors and advised us on all aspects of Fire Risk Assessment. He produced a full report stating all required work and confirming everything discussed on the day. The cost was very reasonable and competitive. I can highly recommend Redline.
