  Replace melted shower isolator

  Contacted Asquith Electrical and Sons LTD late Friday after our electric shower isolator effectively tried to turn itself into a heater. They came out Monday, which was very reasonable. The electrician quickly identified a failed termination and fixed it properly — cutting back to clean copper and reterminating everything as it should have been done to begin with. No shortcuts, everything left tidy, and at £80 the cost was more than reasonable. Will definitely use again.

  Rendering in a difficult spot ...

  When another trade pulled out last minute and my scaffolding was going to be dismantled imminently, Abbas was available with only a days notice to render an external wall challenged by accessibility. Overall, I was very happy with his work and reliability. Although he wasn't the cheapest by far and I do believe he could be a bit neater with less render on the surrounding roofing slates, verges and gutters. I was already prepared to pay every day based on what work was completed from other reviews. Something to keep in mind if you're expecting a bill at the end of the job.
