  Composite door repair / UPVC window repair

  We've used Just Fair Ltd twice this year for issues in our new home: (1) repair of UPVC window in bathroom (lock was broken); (2) realignment of composite front door. Just Fair communicated promptly, arrived in allotted time frame, did the jobs efficiently, and took the time to explain what we should do to look after the windows and door generally. We were especially pleased with work on our bathroom window: other contractors had told us the whole UPVC window needed replacing because it was too old to find an appropriate replacement lock - but Just Fair proved them wrong! Great service.

  On time and good communication

  Very good and easy communication with Ryan via WhatsApp. Payment via bank transfer to the company's account after the job was done. On the day of the job, Sebastian came to clean the windows (external sash windows, bifold doors at the back of the house, and a roof lantern inside and outside). Sebastian arrived on time, worked very diligently and was happy to answer my questions. We will use Clear Finish's services again - thanks!

  Re-pointing interior wall of Edwardian house

  Previous owners had stripped plaster away to create an exposed-brick “feature” wall. The pointing was in a poor state. We suspected that cement had historically been used in patches on the wall, which could not be removed without grinders (creating tons of dust). Matt suggested doing localised repairs only. But when work started, he decided that the wall contained only lime mortar, which could be drilled (creating less dust). We appreciated his honesty about what kinds of work could be safely done inside. The price for re-pointing the whole wall was very reasonable. The end result: beautiful!

  Garden fences and overhaul of front garden

  Fantastic job. Patrick and team disposed of rotting fences around our back garden and installed beautiful feather-edge fencing with concrete posts. The front garden (which was originally paved with slabs that were a slip-risk) was ripped out, re-levelled, and paved with cobble setts, and a flower bed installed. Patrick meticulously laid the cobbles himself. He was attentive to our preferences and provided guidance based on Building Regs and standard practice. Delivery of materials and skip was handled smoothly. The team was impressive. We would not hesitate to work with GK Landscapes again.
