  quick to come out but failed to diagnose the issue with growing charges upfront payment requests

  We called Plumbwells to service our boiler and fix a fault where it repeatedly cut out. We paid £150 and were told it was resolved, but it failed again within hours. A second visit (£300) resulted in the boiler still not working, with advice that the burner was faulty, parts were difficult to source, and any repair would come with no guarantee. After two failed visits, we were then asked to pay upfront for £200 for part. At this point, confidence was lost. A different engineer diagnosed the actual fault within 10 minutes a cracked capacitor and fixed it for £75. Plumbwells did refund £150

  Replace small flat roof

  I originally called Clive a couple of years ago for a small leak. He advised that the flat roof only had about two years left viable and he quoted a fair price then, but said don't bother doing it now. So we called him now 18 months or so since last visit to do the work after getting several higher quotes. He came around and said we would likely get at least another year but we said we wanted to go ahead. Surprisingly he did it for the original quote. He's arrived on time, left the area spotless and was polite and courteous at all times.

  Will came on time when he said he would at all points, from quote to delivery. The quote was competitive and all outlined in very good detail in writing. Payment was not due until completion. This is the gold standard way of doing business. We only paid once he was finished and we where happy. Many other even others from here wanted between 20% and 50% up front not with Wands. He was here every day as he stated despite the awful weather, his team were very polite and curteuous and he even helped us out with ideas and a few things we where struggling with. We hope to continue to work with Will and the team on the rest of our project. I'm happy to be contacted directly to offer a personal recommendation. All of this was done as agreed. Thank you so much. Hope you will be able to work with us going forward on the rest if the project.

  Examined leaking roof

  I called Clive as I had water coming through my ceiling. He attended very quickly took pictures to show me the issue, nothing was too much trouble. He went the extra mile. A real gentleman and I would trust and recommend Scott Rodmell
