  Reliable and hard working

  RPM builders converted a single story outside studio into a two story two bedroom annex.There were a couple of building hitches that required extra work but they were corrected without fuss or cost to us. We are very pleased with the quality of the build. Both Ryan and Paul are very amenable and easy to talk with. Their knowledge helped us in making appropriate modifications to the internal layout of the building.al layout of the building. The whole team was easy for us to have on site. If we were to have another major building project, I would not hesitate to have them back.

  Poor workmanship

  This job was a complete wiring of a new building annex. He carried out the first fix wiring but charged £300 more than agreed 50% of total and asked for a review which I would not give until completion. On his return for second fix, he was unable to locate around 70% of the wires as he had failed to properly map/ mark out where they were to go. Damage was caused to the newly plastered walls and kitchen ceiling ( see photos) He was unable to complete the job. We employed another electrician who completed the job. The kitchen ceiling required re plastering which was not covered by Checkatrade

  New supply and upgrade consumer unit and new wiring to Annex

  Review of N & D Gething Electrical We contacted Nick in late January to rewire a new building that was under construction. He came to give a quotation. He quoted £7000 in a very basic quotation. He is not VAT registered. We said no. He was very persistent and modified his quotation down to £5300. He said he would get all the fittings. My wife said she would prefer to buy lights and socket and switch covers. He said for her to buy these ( but adding on many extras ie extractor fan, 2 smoke alarms and a heat alarm plus cooker switches) and he would reduce the quotation to £4800. He came to do
