  Swift, Efficient and Friendly

  Byron had a gap the same week as he was contacted. That was ideal. I already had two large rolls of used carpet and two rolls of new underlay that he laid in three rooms. The work was complicated as one carpet had been tightly rolled for about eight years. The result was not quite as taut as new carpet but looks great and I could then get my house on the market. Nice guy and reasonably priced,

  Replace a panel fence with closeboard and build a second one at right angles with a lockable gate.

  This was not a simple job. It involved removing tall lap panels and heavy concrete gravel boards from slot-in concrete posts plus timber lap panels, posts and gravel boards. New tall concrete posts were then installed in ground strewn with tree roots. High closeboard panels and timber gravel boards were then fitted throughout. The end panel was remade to slope down and cleverly join with the existing front post and rail fence. The second tall all-timber closeboard fence was built from scratch, and included a matching gate with various metal goods including a lock.

  Job completed on time and on budget, despite issues caused by an incompetent local fence panel manufacturer (requested by me). Overcame numerous technical difficulties occasioned by my wish to retain the fence posts installed in the 1970s. Demonstrated skill and ingenuity in profusion. Reliable, friendly, polite, honest and very competitively priced. End result admired by all who have seen it.
