  LVT flooring replacement

  Great experience. A different contractor had previously installed LVT in our extension before the screed etc. had fully cured. As a result the flooring started to pop up a few months later. Rory fully explained what he believed to be the issue and the various options to correct it. He carried out the job over the course of a month, turned up when he said he would and communicated very well. End result is great and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

  Restore parquet flooring and floorboard replacement

  First job was to sand down, level and re-finish an area of parquet flooring in hallway - finished floor looks even better than I imagined it would. Second job was the replacement of an area of particleboard flooring with actual floorboards. The existing flooring was uneven and very creaky underfoot and Andy not only installed the boards but also went out of his way to remove, trim and re-lay a couple of additional boards that were rubbing together and causing some of the noise. So pleased with the work carried out by Timbertype, highly recommended!

  Multiple varied electrical jobs

  Gareth carried out several jobs for us over a two day period. He installed lighting in the loft, 2 down lights in the upstairs hallway, repositioned a light fixture in a bedroom, installed a timed extractor fan in the bathroom (and ventilated out through fascias) and finally fitted an external power supply through to the shed (not at all straightforward). Not sure how he was able to do all that in two days but did a fantastic job, with great workmanship plus he advised on several other aspects, was friendly and generally went above and beyond what we expected. Very competitive price too!

  Painting of hallway, skirting and architraves. Bedroom painted and wallpapered.

  Excellent work from Kenny, would not hesitate to recommend. Painted hallway from top to bottom, along with skirting boards and architraves (inside and out). He also painted main bedroom, as well as applying wallpaper to a feature wall. Finally sanded and varnished bannister. Very pleased with the work, house looks much better - only problem is the rooms I didn't ask him to do now look terrible by comparison!

  Complete bathroom and cloakroom refit.

  Very happy with the work carried out by Sham and his team, each with their own individual area of expertise (plumbing, tiling, carpentry work etc). All work was completed to our original specification, in a decent time frame and at a very reasonable price. Sham is a really friendly guy, and never seemed to tire of my constant questions (if he did, he hid it very well!) Would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.
