  f23 error on boiler which caused heating and hot water to stop intermittently.

  engineer was able to assure us that this was normal with the boiler model i had. he checked some valves and suggested adjusting heating cycle to keep hot water separate of heating rads...and he did some adjustments to a valve to improve boiler sensitivity.

  John Joyce always does a fabulous job and im always amazed to see how much he can do on his own. His work was neat and tidy and he offered to do more work to clear a tree away so it doesnt affect the panels in future. All in all excellent

  Fast and tidy work. Guys were friendly. My only complaint was that I had asked for one wall to be drilled from inside to limit impact on external render - the guys didnt plan for this and I had to supply dustsheets and when they did the job they left the interior plaster wall with a crack. Nothing major and easily repaired.

  Knock down kitchen/ dinning wall and make tidy, re-place tile and wood with new wood laminate floor, fill in previous kitchen door, mount a few kitchen cupboards, move radiator and electrical switches

  Tony and his crew were left at home to do this work while we were away on holiday. The work was originally quoted for 10 - 15 days but he managed to get this done in 6 days! We came back to find 90% of work done and he just needed a further day to finish off. Pros were that the work was done, looked reasonably tidy and he guarantees for 12 mo. Cons were that he didn't use the underlay he initially said he would, floors are not level between rooms, the plaster work was not finished well and needed further work before painting and a couple of floor boards were moving (he came back to fix this).

  Replacing doors for kitchen units.

  Steve was friendly and was able to manage the work without supervision, the fitted doors look good and he tried to sweep up following his work. Furthermore, he was flexible and accommodated fitting in drawers without all fixings being provided to him. Negatives, if being picky, are that some of the cornices were not cut very cleanly (bad edges on a couple of them), one of the drawers do not close perfectly, he did not use any fittings such as insert nuts for the new door hinges (directly drilled into MDF which might be fine) and that he didn't clean up the cupboard shelves after drilling.

  Overall I am happy with workmanship. He is very accommodating and took a lot of requests during work. Only points of dissatisfaction are the mosaics seem to have a few skew and he didn't warn us that re-plastering would cost more. I assumed it was included.

  I feel that John did a good job with our fence. He is very polite and has the patience to explain what is needed in layman's terms. Unfortunately due to rain and a number of "surprises" ( Height of flowerbed on neighbours side) he took a little longer to do the job than expected. This is the second time we have used John. He is a bit slower than some people and was not the cheapest quote but he is trustworthy and does a good job.

  Repair work to a wood panel fence.

  John was initially uncomfortable making a firm quote as he preferred flexibility. He then agreed to work at a fixed price and completed the job well and in time and cost. I would recommend this company.
