  5 Stars - would use again without any hesitation

  Needed an undersink water heater fitted. Came at the arranged time. The work was done in two parts, first one done so clean and tidy you would barely know that anything had been touched. Second visit was done, again the job was done quickly and cleanly. Communication was prompt with excellent response. Very happy to give a 5 star review, and I know as soon as I need an electrician again, I will be confident using them again.

  Rendering outside walls

  This was initially going to be a simple render over breeze blocks on three sides of an extension, and replace render on the side wall over old norfolk red bricks. Once work commenced it was very obvious to me that it was worse than I realised, with a lot of the bricks and mortar crumbling away. The additional work was carried out, with crumbling bricks replaced with blocking. Everything was completed to an excellent finish, electric lights rewired in, everything left clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use this company again and have already asked about another job I need doing.

  Job obviously too small to be bothered.

  Had a minor leak under sink (quick fix). Also wanted quote for undercounter hot water tap, as well as going forward new kitchen. Asked for a quote, and was told they would contact me asap. 1 month later and no contact. This is now the third negative experience with Checkatrade for three different categories and I won't be bothering to use it again.

  Got a message saying they were interested in my job then ghosted ... No contact even to say they were not interested. Sorry but that's not good customer service. If they contact me after seeing my feedback I shall be interested to see what they say. But even if you have an excuse you really should just drop a courtesy message.

  Cannot fault in any way. Prompt contact on my enquiry, followed up by prompt quote and appointment booked to suit my work pattern - including coming on a Saturday without any surcharge. On the day I was kept in touch with arrival time, and the work was carried out exactly as I requested as well as cleanly and tidily. Price was very reasonable too. I have no hesitation in recommending 100% as I will be using them again in the near future.
