  Electrics for kitchen renovation

  I have used Dan on numerous other occasions since moving into my new property two years ago. He takes great care to ensure that the work is done properly to his high standards. He will also advise you on the best choice for lighting or placement of sockets. With the new kitchen he took care to place switches and sockets near to the source of need and to safely block off any unnecessary/redundant lines. He works efficiently and is very tidy. He is also very good to promptly send the appropriate work certificates. He is a lovely gentleman and I would trust him with any electrical work.

  Kitchen renovation

  Ross is a very pleasant and courteous man to have working on site. Being both a carpenter and a builder his work is done to a very high standard of craftmanship. He takes immense care and gives great attention to details resulting in a very professionally finished kitchen. When unexpected problems arise (which must happen frequently when doing kitchens), he will take the time to resolve the problem to achieve the best fit and finish for the unit/s. Choices were given throughout the installation and good advice was given. I can highly recommend Ross for any building work.

  Renovation of a cloakroom and hallway.

  The planning and organising of a new downstairs cloakroom with Tony and Lew was quick and efficient. The standard of work was excellent and I am pleased with the resuIt. A hole in the hall ceiling was repaired and the old Artex surface skimmed with new plaster. Also, a stairway hand rail was replaced. Tony and Lew are very capable and versatile craftsmen. More consistent / regular communication between us would have been helpful, as Tony was delayed from the suggested start time. Being unaware of this, caused some complications for me.

  Installation of ceiling lights, dimmer switches and outdoor lighting.

  Once again, I gave Dan a long list of jobs to complete including fitting dimmer switches, installing several new light fixtures and sorting out rather mismatched lights and switches. As always, he did a professional job, working efficiently and proficiently. He takes just that little bit of extra care to insure that the job is well done and is nicely finished. He is a very pleasant gentleman and a pleasure to have working in the home. I will always look to Dan for any electrical work needed in my home.

  Refit of family bathroom

  Neil and his array of colleagues (electrician, plaster, tiler, "mastic man" and able bodied assistant) each arrive at the appropriate time in the refit to do their job. It all flows quite smoothly and quickly. Neil is very likable and easy to work with. Communication, in both directions, was good. The team were all very capable tradesmen and pleasant to have about the house, being tidy and polite. The standard of work is high and I am pleased with my bathroom.

  Exterior decoration of rendered surface affected by flaking paintwork.

  Dan and his team did a proper job of scrapping away the old, flaking paintwork, cleaning and stabilizing the surface and re-painting the render. The windows and frames were protected and working areas were cleaned each day. Care was taken to work around plants and guttering. They worked efficiently. Dan made what seemed an enormous job to me, quite simple and straightforward. Well done to the them.

  Redecorate 4 bedrooms and a landing

  Craig and colleague did all the work exactly as I hoped. Time was taken to fill and prep all walls, ceilings and woodwork, some of which were new and some of which were in very bad condition. The newly plastered bare walls and ceilings were treated as necessary. Knotting and primer applied to bare woodwork. The remaining walls, ceilings and woodwork were filled, sanded and treated with stain block, if necessary.

  Outdoor Security Light and Garage indoor and outdoor Lights

  Dan provided an outdoor security light to be mounted on the garage and to illuminate the driveway of appropriate size and luminosity. He removed the useless old fluorescent internal garage lights and replaced them with new LED lights which are extremely effective. He also removed the old garage mounted garden light and replaced it with a new half lantern with sensor, which also provides good strong light and is attractive. He is highly professional, very pleasant to have about and provides good value for money. I have already booked him for some additional work.

  Put up 2 new curtain poles after removing the old incorrectly placed ones.

  Andrey asked lots of questions regarding the placement of the poles to insure they were exactly where I wanted them. I was grateful for this, as they had previously been put up incorrectly. He worked efficiently and carefully measuring and re- measuring. He is a pleasant gentleman and easy to work with. I am sure I will call upon him again for other "handyman" jobs.

  Curtain poles

  Two curtain poles were put up, an old one no longer required taken down and two pieces of furniture moved for disposal. Steven any Shane were polite, friendly and quickly set to the jobs. They did a careful and very neat job of positioning the poles. They cleared away any dust from the drilling. They even filled the holes from the previous pole, and unexpected surprise. Good job all round. I can recommend them.
