  Replacing decking board and installing 2 water butts

  Mark replied to me on the weekend and came on the Tuesday to replace a rotting decking board and install 2 water butts. The quote was very reasonable and he did the job to a good standard and was very quick! Would happily hire Mark again for any handyman or gardening needs in the future.

  Removing and installing new radiators

  I arranged on the app for a plumber to come at 8am one day to remove 2 radiators. The day rolled around and no plumber came so I had to message and chase them up eventually they did come around 11am. They charged us £60 cash to remove the radiators which I was unhappy as I wanted to pay for everything once the whole job was completed. Arranged a second appointment to refit the radiators and again got a message he’ll come over at 8 am. Nobody showed up! At this point their timekeeping was so terrible I could only expect the quality would be as bad so I told them to not come at all.

  New fence and tree cutting

  Josh and his team were fantastic! On their first day we had pro finish landscapes take down a 15 metre tree. All debris was taken care of. Our back fence panels were replaced with closeboard fencing. Fantastic job. Garden slopes down and the workman ship on the fence is stunning. We also had panels and gravel boards replaced which needed access from the neighbours side. Josh did a superb job and left the neighbours side clean and tidy. So happy and impressed and would recommend pro finish landscapes for any landscaping needs.

  New floors, skirting, doors and architrave

  Artur was absolutely amazing. He took 5 days to fit our new flooring and doors. He also gave advice on which underlay to purchase beforehand. The flooring looks stunning. Plasterers before did a wonky job on the walls and Artur took his time to shave the skirting so it would sit flush against the wall. We also had 6 new doors fitted and the following week we had a problem with the handle on one of the doors, Artur came same day to fix it! We’re so impressed with him and will forever continue to use A&G Marine Carpentry for the future!

  Removal of old water tank in loft

  We’d hired Seth to remove an old water tank that was in the loft. Seth was very quick to respond and came over to quote us the following week. Very reasonable price for the removal and disposal of the tank. We did have to call Seth back as the piping wasn’t removed and he came the very next day to sort that out. We’ve already rehired to remove and install new radiators and replace some outdoor waste water piping. We’ll continue to use Seth for all our future plumbing needs!

  Moving light switches, removing old cables and sockets.

  We’ve had DMA over a couple times now and all the lads have been amazing! Especially Dave, Will and Callum! Our bungalow had some dodgy diy electrics done to it and we had DMA Electrics to remove the old security system cables and other random wires that were jutted out of walls. We also had a light switch moved and merged light switches to a double gang switch. They all left the site tidy and were a pleasure getting to know. We’ll forever keep DMA Electrical’s number on our fridge for the future!

  Part one complete

  Harley and his crew have been absolutely amazing! Just moved into our property and the garden had sadly been so neglected. The garden was full of bramble bushes, trees and an old dilapidated shed that was full to the top with rubbish. Harley and his crew cleared so much in 4 days. They took down the shed and took all the rubbish content to the tip they also we continuously taking all the garden waste away. We’re so impressed with his team. They were all polite and professional. Already have Hampshire Dorset Garden Care hired for another job in a few weeks time to finish off the garden!

  Fitting a new light.

  Hired Alex to come for a new light in our hallway. My husband was there to greet Alex and let him install the new light, I immediately paid when I get texted the light got installed and worked however when I got home the light never worked. Messaged Alex a few times to get him over to have a look at it however never made any effort to come over even after agreeing a date. Instead said the light switch probably was the problem. We hired A DIFFERENT electrician to have a look at it and the issue was a LOOSE CONNECTOR in the original instalment. Also the new electrician charged us half theprice
