  Responded quickly to my advert. Arrived when they said they would and got straight to work. Polite and careful with my property. Cleaned up afterwards and I am very pleased with the result. Would use them again.

  Replacement of original slate roof on a 120 year old terraced house.

  I engaged Homeguard to repair part of my roof but they found more severe problems, including dry rot in the rafters caused by having foam sprayed on the underside of the slate many years ago. I was shown the problem, including the dry rot, and I am in no doubt it was real. Despite the extra work - which was exacerbated by the slates being bonded together by the foam - I had a new tiled roof with new rafters in a little over a week. I was given a new quote before the work began. I am very satisfied with the company and the people who work for it.

  Repointing a 120 year old brick wall

  Rob assessed the wall told me what he would do and what the price would be and I gave me such confidence that I gave him the job immediately. He arrived to do the work when he said he would and simply got on with it. I am very pleased with him and his work.
