  Reliable, experienced tiler, nice to work with

  Tim is a very experienced tiler and a nice man - he took on our tricky shower space, and although he found our (planned) random pattern gave him a headache, and the space hard to work in, he persevered to the end to get it done.

  Dividing a room (to create a new bedroom)

  We asked Matt to construct a new stud wall to add a new bedroom space to our property. The wall was to have slatted wood cladding on one side, and a concealed door, with the other side plastered. A relatively straightforward job, but the ends of the wall needed to be carefully fitted to the jagged edges of our old house. We are really pleased with the work. Matt is great to deal with - an experienced, reliable builder who knows what he's doing. Helped out with a couple of other random requests too - including sawing a table in half! Very happy to recommend.

  Lead work on roof (of listed building).

  A relatively small job of repairing lead work on our roof (after it had peeled back following high winds), but one that required skill and care. Neil managed to find time the same day I called, and has completed a very tidy job, very efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. I would recommend Neil and would use his services again.
