  Making a light fitting work normally again.

  I explained what was happening and also gave a showing. He understood my concerns and agreed that he could do the work. I arranged to switch off the power supply to the lighting as well as the sockets. He was then able to remove the original light which was a sort of chandler and replace it with a hanging light fitting to which l must buy a Lampshade for. He also replaced the light switch which may have been apart of the fault, with the light bulbs in the Chandler. He left the area the living room as he had found and handed the light fitting and switch to dispose of.
