  James was quick to respond to our message and surveyed the site expertly. He talked through the work and gave us a very reasonable price. Given that he had work in the local area, he was able to pass on the saving to us and reduce the price to bargain territory! That said, the job itself doesn’t read bargain - it is meticulous and finished in two days. Despite the rain, James and his team worked efficiently, tidily and professionally. Their aftercare was noteworthy - they told us how the drive would settle over the next week and offered any follow up work or advice as needed. Highly recommend

  Blown glazing replaced!

  The double glazing in our French door had blown, so put out a request. First Rate came back promptly and was really personable throughout the process. They visited quickly to check out the problem and gave us a very good quote. Top quality glazer! Kept us up to date on ordering and availability. I'd heartily recommend them if you need efficient, friendly and good value work.

  Professional and personable

  Absolute diamond! We needed a rewire after our fusebox died in the early hours. Darran gave us some advice before even coming round. He was swift, professional and excellent value. We were so impressed that we got an EV point installed as well. Moreover, when we couldn't get the app working, he popped over the next day and helped sort it out. Before we found him, we were frankly a bit worried - not needed any maintenance before and was concerned we'd be misled or receive an overpriced estimate. Darran was polite, punctual and excellent value. Would heartily recommend!
