  Steve from Seaford was prompt on time,got straight to work,was extremely quick and the charge for the time he spent here was very reasonable.I asked him a question after he left and he replied with minimal delay.

  Sandblast and paint metal gate.

  The work took about a fortnight . When the gate was returned it was explained to me that not all the rust could be removed. I shall wait to see if/ when rust returns.

  Checkatrade contacted me in the early morning to tell me that Siggs & Sonns were interested in the work,which I thought was a win, No calls or email received that day so I rang the following day and was told that "dad is dealing with it and will ring you today to make an appointment. I waited all day eventually ringing again late afternoon but no answer. I am of an age when firms were eager for business so I am not impressed. The one point is for the son who answered my original call.

  Water ingress to home

  After being left in the air by the makers of my park home I rang DJM Roofing .Within an hour Dave arrived had a look after climbing his ladder and found two small holes in the tiles by the apex. He then sealed them . When asked the charge he refused any payment just saying he was on his way home anyway. For someone who had just been let down by a large firm ,this restored my faith in human nature.Thank you Dave.

  Repainting botched work in Bathroom.

  The bathroom had previously been painted by someone whose efforts left the walls "tacky" even after several months. We had to wait some time for Meredith to be able to visit as he is so good and is booked way ahead, It took him several days to work out the problem and than correct it. This was his third or fourth room he has worked on for us . He is definitely worth the wait .

  Due to my error in ordering the panel, Peter we unable to carry out any work. He did, however, take time to show me the correct items and was most helpful. I will definitely ask him to come back.
