  BUILDING AN ORNAMENTAL WALL AROUND A GARDEN AREA

  Extremely pleased with the job done by Ernie. I was having problems with cars driving across my garden when reversing and Ernie built a wall to delineate it. He was always very obliging, polite and punctual and kept me well informed of what he was going to do before he did it. When he’d finished the job he gave me some useful information on how to care for the brickwork while the mortar was drying out. He even did some small jobs for me like rectifying loose fence panels and bricking up a hole under a gravel board where a fox was coming in - at no extra cost. The man’s a diamond!

  Ridge and valley rebedding above front porch.

  An excellent job by JCL Roofing. John is a quiet, obliging and diligent worker who repaired our roof to a high standard and left no mess behind. He explained exactly what was involved and followed this with an invoice by email so there would be no misunderstanding. It cost a reasonable price too. I would recommend him highly.

  Removing 2 sheds and erecting a new one

  I cannot thank Glorious Gardens and Ponds enough for the difference they have made to our garden. Previously we had a dank and dismal corner with 2 rotting sheds. Now we have had the old sheds removed, the existing slabs relayed and a beautiful summer shed erected. The boys kept us informed at every stage of the build and when there were problems with the delivery of the shed they organised it all for us. They are hardworking and obliging and nothing was a problem for them. They worked very tidily and removed every scrap from the garden. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

  Removing 3 light fittings and replacing them with new ones

  We are delighted with the work Simon did for us. His quote was very reasonable and he did not go above it. He is a friendly and hardworking chap and answered all my queries with politeness and patience. He worked tidily and was never intrusive. He used his own dust sheet to protect the carpets and moved it from room to room. When I asked him about some other electrical jobs we needed doing he was honest about where the complications might arise and gave us another very reasonable quote. After he left you would never have known anyone had been working there. I do not hesitate to recommend him.

  Cutting back neighbour's overhanging trees and replacing fence

  If you want a quality job done at a reasonable price then Ernie is your man. He and his team removed 12 rotten fence panels destroyed by ivy and replaced them with gravel boards and feather edge panels. We were informed by him at every point as to what problems he encountered and how he was going to deal with them. All rubbish was removed at the end of the day and the garden was tidied. The team was very well organised and respectful of our property. They also trimmed our side hedge and cut down a small tree with no further charge. Our garden is transformed. Look no further. Ernie is the KING!
