  Roof repairs

  Instructed Simon to go ahead with the repairs of what was already a poorly done job by the previous roofer. Attended within a week of acceptance, spending approx 1 day here on site patching up. The plan once finished was to then look at replacing flat roofs. Unfortunately I had been chasing Simon since mid October to late January, with no sign of them coming. In the end I’ve given up! Now left with a leaking roof and the repairs they failed to fix. Either too much work on or too difficult a job.

  New tarmac drive.

  Graham and his guys laid tarmac to my drive. He promptly quoted, then at a later date (due to other reasons) he came around again to re-quote. Managed to fit me in before Christmas to prep then lay it all. Will use again as and when I need his services again. Cheers graham.

  New shower and tiling.

  The good: Managed to install to an acceptable standard. Found a small leak on the bath waste. The bad: After installation of pipe work my partner found a massive leak and water coming through ceiling. Time management and organisation poor. Had to get them to change colour of sealant and refit wall boards. Managed to fit a new tap using pop up waste from old tap. I had to fix. Before accepting any work beforehand make sure you know who is doing the work, as on this occasion the owner wasn't doing it and had his junior on the case who didn't seem happy working for him.
