  Internal restoration, damp-proofing and repointing of Victorian brick wall

  Pro Pointing has completed an extensive repair of the internal Victorian brick wall making up one side of our garage and house. Stuart did a first rate job and was as always careful and thoughtful. To address damp problems, he removed paint and plaster that had been preventing the wall from breathing. He then injection damp-proofed the wall before re-pointing and applying protective lime-wash. At his suggestion, he was able to restore original shelving sitting on queen closer bricks. Looks great and very practical.

  Re-pointing and sorting out drainage around new wall

  New double-skinned ~8 foot high brick wall, plus many repairs to pointing/ patio

  Having previously repaired an old wall and built a greenhouse base (see earlier review) we knew we could trust Stuart when asking him to build a high double-skinned brick wall. He fitted a gate in the wall and trellis on the top. He built a step by the gate and sorted out different levels/ drainage. It was fiddly but the wall looks magnificent. He also repointed the house and repaired a chimney and our patio. Many weeks of work, all done with care and flair. Stuart has high standards of workmanship and makes excellent suggestions. Completely trustworthy and always a pleasure to have around.

  Removing a fireplace and a sink in a bedroom and making good afterwards.

  Liam did an excellent and skilful job. He came on time, worked to the quote and price that he provided in advance, and his workmanship was excellent. In particular he did a skilful job in re-plastering the holes in the wall left after removal of the sink and fireplace so as to achieve a top quality finish on the wall/ with the painting.

  Stuart (and his sons) are "a real find". They did a lot of work for us and executed it all with artistry, care, professionalism and tidiness. Stuart's workmanship - esp. Greenhouse base and floor (from reclaimed bricks) and repaired wall and patio is admired by all visitors to our garden. I would recommend Stuart (and sons) - without any hesitation - for any project involving bricks or stone where the work needs to be done thoughtfully and carefully and to a high standard. We've asked Stuart to come back and do some more work towards the end of the year.

  Very pleased with the design (thanks to Jocelyn's patient assistance) and execution (thanks particularly to Daniel).  All staff hardworking, skilful and polite. Job was done quickly and efficiently.  Excellent quality of finish. Quotation and revisions were regular and accurate so we spent what we thought we would.  Very attentive with last minute changes. Once they started, we knew we were in good hands and had chosen well.  For this reassurance, excellent value for money.
